Step into Spring- Casual Spring OOTD

Friday, March 25, 2016

Although the temperatures are still pretty chilly, we’ve had a few days when they sun is out and you can start picturing spring! I spent the day with my sister and son in Baltimore. We went the Children's museum, visited Harbor East, and walked around Little Italy. This outfit is perfect for staying warm when it’s still brisk out, but when the sun is shining bright. Put an cardigan in a cute pastel color with your favorite white skinnies (obviously I am against the “no white after Labor Day” rule!) and some light-colored shoes and there ya go! My outerwear was from Naked Zebra. My white T-shirt was from Urban Outfitters. My white jeans are Uniqlo. My shoes wear from H&M. Hope you enjoyed reading my post, and remember to always shine your brightest! XoXo

Romantic Edges- Pretty in Pink and Leather OOTD

Sunday, March 20, 2016

Last weekend, I got together with a few of my very favorite cousins and family. It was rainy and cold, but we rallied together for the sake of our mental health, being cooped up inside was causing major cabin fever. We went to a cute new Asian ramen noodle place that opened up in town. I'm generally not a fan of Asian food, but my family's enthusiasm got me just as excited. The food actually ended up being good, just as good as the company I had. I decided to wear my moto leather jacket from Zara. I really love this jacket because it makes me feel edgy and really cool, which I am far from. The tank I wore under was a find from Century 21, a brand called Sans Souci. I've never worn a piece from this brand before, but absolutely loved the color, and the A line bottom. My jeans were a cute grey pair from Celebrity Pink. Lastly, I finished off my look with my go-to Steve Madden nude pumps. I hope you enjoyed reading my post, and remember to always shine your brightest!

Color Block OOTD

Wednesday, March 16, 2016

It seems to me that since I bought this white vest I keep wearing it with everything, it pulls together an outfit seamlessly. I wore it on an overcast afternoon. I am planning on going out of state for a few days and then I was running last minute errands. I unintentionally color blocked this outfit into a beautiful black and white ensemble. I love the idea of adding a simple black bag to complete this look. The vest was a recent purchase at Forever 21. The vest came with an attached belt I didn't care for too much, but was easily removable.

The pants were high waisted jeans from H&M.

My low ribbed tank was from Bebe.

The strap heels, I wore for the picture (I was wearing sneakers while running around) were a find from Express. They are a couple years old so not available anymore but I found similar ones here:

My handbag was vintage Miu Miu.
Hope you enjoyed my post and I will keep them coming! Remember to sign your brightest XOXO

Denim X Denim OOTD

Wednesday, March 9, 2016

Once upon a time, in the not so distant past, I was made fun of for wearing denim on denim. What that person didn't see was that I was light- years ahead of the latest celebrity trend. When the likes of Gigi Hadid and Jennifer Lopez are sporting this trend, I cognize that I was headed in the right direction.

Today I pulled out my favorite Uniqlo jeans and my denim shirt and headed out for some sunshine. The jeans themselves are very comfortable and easy to move in.

The shirt was from Love Tree and I tucked it in for a cleaner look.

I partnered the shirt off with nude pumps from Steve Madden.

The shades were cheapo's from forever 21, they are life savers because my son currently keeps trying to pull anything on my face  off. I hope you enjoyed reading about my look. Remember to always shine your brightest!
