This last Saturday night we headed out to a surprise birthday party for a friend. Then I decided to wear something I picked up recently on a shopping trip. I was so excited to wear the skirt I picked up most of all because it added a little but of springtime in this cold weather. The skirt I purchased was from century 21 made by jealous tomato. It's a woven pleated dark blue skirt with floral patterning.

The top was a black body suit from express I got on Black Friday. Body suits are great for pieces where you don't want the seam to show. My tights and earrings were also from express.

Hi loves!!!

This holiday season, I got to unwind and relax, thus, I haven't really added too many posts lately. My son also just turned one and I was in a super mommy mode! He's lucky enough to have a huge family on his mom's side and likewise on his dad's side, this means 2 parties. The outfit I wore to one of his parties was a beautiful net and georgette in "off white". I ordered pure white, but you know how it gets when ordering stuff from Pakistan you say tomato I say tomato. No matter, I loved the beautiful detail along the bodice and the outline of the deep burgundy lining. The shoes were a cute Kate Spade find in gold.

The highlight of my look though, was the hair and makeup done by the amazing Warda, whose info is found here:

I asked that she make me look young lol because I've been feeling too young to be feeling this old. She's so much fun to spend time with that makeup and hair becomes an afterthought. I get so caught up with the good time I'm having with her and that's exactly why I love her. She worked her magic with pink and purple tone, eyes a deep nude lip and glowing cheeks.
